A member of the Committee Ms. Jasna Kolašinac participated on „The 35th Space Symposium“ which was held from 8th to 11th April 2019 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. The Symposium brought together space leaders from around the world to discuss, address and plan for the future of space since the inaugural event in 1984. Attendees at that original event numbered barely 250 space enthusiasts. In recent years, the Space Foundation team has welcomed more than 9,000 people from around the world, including speakers, attendees, exhibitors, volunteers, educators and students. The Space Symposium has become widely known as the premier U.S. space policy and program forum and as the “must attend” opportunity for information on and interaction among all sectors of space.
Ms. Jasna Kolašinac promoted the activities of the Committee, with special attention to the upcoming CanSat/Rocketry competition in Serbia and the global program UNITY.
This year’s Symposium was held under the title „Connect, Engage and Prosper at the 35th Space Symposium“.
By mid-April 2019, a call for students to join the Space program is open.
The program covers three areas:
The CANSAT/ROCKETRY INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION (CRIC2019) for students will be held from 4th to 6th October 2019 at the airport “Veliki Radinci”.
The competition will be held simultaneously with the International Model Rocket Competition and the CanSat/Rocketry National Competition.
