The system for satellite monitoring of surface water quality in real-time and early-warning system (WQM) is ready for connection with the Iridium constellation of 66 satellites. GSM transmitter will be replaced by RockBlock transmitter as well as the operational code.

UČEŠĆE KOMITETA U PROGRAMU: „Monitoring Climate from Space“
Program je održan u periodu od 30. novembra 2015. do 04. januara 2016. godine u organizaciji European Space Agency (ESA).
Program je organizovan u vreme održavanja „COP21 | United nations conference on climate change“ kao vid podrške ovako značajnom događaju, odnosno kao doprinos širenju svesti o ozbiljnosti situacije u kojoj se Planeta nalazi, kao i edukovanju participanata o aktuelnim i planiranim projektima opservacije Zemlje satelitskim putem i njihovom značaju.

ZAVRŠENA DRUGA FAZA STANDARDIZACIJE MKV-A…
Završena druga faza standardizacije sistema za satelitski monitoring kvaliteta površinskih voda u realnom vremenu i sistema za rano upozoravanje (MKV).
Testirana kompletna elektronika na terenu upotrebom GSM modula kao predajnika. Za smeštanje elektronike korišćena je probna bova koja će u trećoj, završnoj, fazi takođe biti standardizovana. Standardizacija bove je u direktnoj vezi sa HUMSAT predajnikom za koji je sve spremno i koji će, naravno, zameniti GSM predajnik.
Dok partneri iz Španije sa Univerziteta u Vigu (University of Vigo) ne pošalju HUMSAT predajnik biće obavljene dodatne konsultacije sa predstavnicima RHMZ-a i Agencije za zaštitu životne sredine.

Započet razvoj MKV-HUMSAT sistema…
Započet razvoj sistema za satelitski monitoring kvaliteta površinskih voda u realnom vremenu i sistema za rano upozoravanje (MKV) u sklopu HUMSAT projekta.
Sistem se sastoji iz dva veća segmenta:
– segment na Zemlji (MKV);
– segment u Svemiru (HUMSAT);
i koristi „Store & Forward“ telekomunikacionu tehniku.
Segment na Zemlji (MKV) razvija Komitet, a segment u Svemiru Univerzitet u Vigu (University of Vigo), Španija kroz projekat HUMSAT (Humanitarian Satellite Constellation).
Projekat podržavaju nadležna kancelarija Ujedinjenih Nacija – UNOOSA (United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs) i Evropska Svemirska Agencija – ESA (European Space Agency).
