We had the great honor and pleasure of meeting the famous Dr. Vasagam and to directly cooperate with him several years. His expertise, and above all, his humanity, selflessness and willingness to help at any moment actually directed us all to behave in the same way. He was a true friend of Serbia and the region of the former Yugoslavia, and of the Serbian and all other nations in this region. He helped Serbia’s Space program and the CSPD when it was most difficult, and then that help became routine. Now we are all very sad because we failed to thank him in an adequate way. We will try to do that with our further work…, maybe just maybe that can be the highest form of gratitude because we are actually his students and followers. His work and contribution to humanity is already published in our Museum in Novi Sad, and he will have a special place in our hearts forever.
