SECOND PHASE OF STANDARDIZATION of WQM system has been completed…

logo-maliHumsat-logo-400px

Second phase of standardization of system for satellite monitoring of surface water quality in real-time and early-warning system (WQM) has been completed.

All electronic components has been tested on the field using a GSM module as transmitter. For storing the electronics was used a test buoy that will in the third, final, phase also be standardized. Standardization of the buoy is directly related to HUMSAT transmitter for which everything is ready and that will, of course, replace the GSM transmitter.

While we wait the HUMSAT transmitter from partners from the University of Vigo (Spain), it will be carried out further consultations with the Republic Hydrometeorological Service and the Agency for Environmental Protection.

Cooperation with the Aeronautical Union of Vojvodina (VSV) is, of course, completely natural and about its significance speaks to the fact that this organization is the holder of the highest awards both at domestic and international level in all segments of the aviation particularly the rocket modeling and launch. From the aspect of published Strategy for space program development and defined Programs of the Committee, Aeronautical Union have relevant and for defined Programs necessary experience in rocket modeling and launches, ballooning, parachuting and organizing of national and international competitions, gained through tradition full 85 years, which is clearly shown on official website of the Union (http://www.vsvojvodine.org/) and it will only strengthen the position of both organizations and enable sustainable development of education and human resources in this area, as well as the achievement of the objectives defined by the published Strategy.
